pre-96 v6 camaro's used the 160hp 3.4 V6

And the 4th gens V8 cars had 275-285hp (LT1) and a very under-rated 300hp (LS1)

This is what I would do If I bought the 83...do exhaust, drivetrain, etc, anything that could be used on the 327...

I would not waste money on the actual 305 specific parts when your just going to be swapping it out

That sounds like a good idea badinfluence, no point in using parts only uniqe to the 305 when itll be swapped out eventually for the 327 anyway. thanks for all of your input guys

 

yea, i was excluding LS guns, and forgot bout 3.4, forgot 1st year of 3.8 was only 94 or 95, but my cousin has my dad's old 2.8 86 and it has 180-ish with just exhaust and cold air
