Default compression

from the first cylinder
187 190 190 195 190 192

Is that good? I'm having a problem with a slightly rough idle and slight vibrations over 2000rpm

yea that is fine and about average for these engines. How does your harmonic balancer look?

looks good. just rebuilt the engine. Also is it normal for there to be no change in idling while disconnecting the map sensor?

Idling it should be no big deal and the sensor is not really doing much. When the air flow increases is when the sensor tells the computer what is going on. Try unplugging the sensor and then giving the engine some throttle. If all is well the engine will studder and stumble and maybe even die really fast. Doing this may give you a CEL that will need to be reset at your local autopart store.
