Hey Guys!

New to the forum and I'm not too mechanically savvy...yet.

I've got a 95, 3.4 L Convertible. It runs great except for this cracked rubber piece always popping off when I start the car. I've attached a stock photo of the engine.

This has been driving me nuts as I've taken it to a few Auto parts stores and all of them have NO idea what the hell that piece is or what it does. When it pops off the RPM's go sky high. It almost seems as if it's suppose to be glued on...which I do if it wasn't all cracked and worn out.

Any help on the matter would be amazing...especially where I could purchase a new one

its just a T fitting you could prob get one at a junkyard for like a dollar or the dealership if the crack isnt to bad id say slap some super glue in there but make sure its fully dry b4 you start the car its prob not a good thing to have super glue in the engine
