Default comments on my intake

the intak ei made since i have an angled manifold has a 90* tube with a conical on it righ tbehind the left fan. should i move it?

If it's sitting behind the radiator, where hot air would be sucked up, I would move it, if you're looking for a little performance. Why don't you still have the stock air lid?

the stock air lid was way restrictive. it only had 2 little holes for air where as conical is all around 360*. i want to switch to a straight one so i can just use piping with a filter at the end before the radiator

You can "unrestrict" the stock lid.

+1 the intakes arent that bad on the 98-02's.....93-97 sucked lol.

im just going to get a whisper lid instead. and ill use a k&n high flow filter

There is an SLP Cold air intake that they make for the 93-97 camaros v6 3.8L now.. for 250$ or below..

Good choice, thats what I did. If you want to save more money you can make your stock air lid like a whisper lid. Use a Dremel to take off the baffleson the inside of the air lid, then sand it down smooth.

I agree.. possibly one of the biggest downfalls of the 97..
