Default Clutch break-in

Just installed a new clutch in 02 V6. Tyhe clutch came from ebay and its the F1 Racing Stage 1 clutch kit. Was wondering, whats the break in period for a new clutch? Is it about 500 miles or what? Because when u engage the clutch it sounds like its slipping. It has that sounds that a trampoline makes when u slid across it lol (best way I could come up with for the sounds) Also is there a certain direction the clutch face needs to be installed? I didnt see any "front" or "back" markings on the face. Maybe the sounds is from the disc being installed wrong....

the clutch needs to be installed a certain way the side where the metal that holds the springs sticks out further goes away from the flywheel as for break in period id give it more like 1000 miles if it sounds like its slipping i would think you installed it backwards
