Default Trying to break 200 mph

I think I have gone as fast as a stock bodied camaro can go , 199 mph... limited by the lift on the front of the car. So I made some changes to see if it will get some down force and hook up.

Well I watched the video and I think you might have a little left. What induction are you using? If it a carb you can gain alot by blocking the air coming in the front of the breather. When it flows over the top of the carb at 199 mph it will almost act like a vacuum! And the air is so turbulent it will kill power! K&N makes a nice shroud but in your case I would build something myself. Or you could drop on a cowl hood and have your carb guy(or you) tune the carb for the pressure changes.

Just my thoughts from past experiances, Jr

P.S. LOVE that car!!

I am going to see how this set runs in June at maxton, but I also made a cowl scoop to fit on the air box if the ram air setup doesnt work out.
