i acctually was filling up next to this early 2000s BMW 330i convertable. with the full exaught the cars got a pretty good rumble even at idle. guy though i was trying to play tough asked if ever race. seeing as we wernt far from what has become affectionately know as "da spot". we lined up and i gave the three honks. i actually spun a little bit off the line. my car is hurting for the posi i have sitting in my basement.... anyway..... he seemed to bog late in first cus as soon as i caught traction i reeled him right back in passed him but he hung close on the big end but i got him by half a carish...

haha. i pulled up next to some guy in a 2 door bmw (not sure what it was) and he gave me the look. i have me, my buddy, and his gf in the car with me plus all of my textbooks for class. prolly somewhere around 500 lbs in my car. hes riding by himself. light turns green we both take off slowly and he guns it. i gun it with him but then hear the turbo kick in. yeah i got smoked. didnt know it was turboed lol

 

I had one like your race big nic but it was a mustang, new it said ct/gt on the side. Proud to say tho my lil 3800 made that v8 take another look at itself. I beat him by half a carlength. Witch i fell is the shat considering my babys a 98 v6 and the stang was a 200? V8

 

Its CS/GT (California Special) and if was infact a S197 they have 300hp.. And the Cali Specials are just appearance mods.... and unless your car is totally NOT stock i call BS. My old Z28 pullled passed a regular GT convertible and got him bya fender at the next light... on that note... i miss my camaro dearly...
