I have the same exhaust on right now and I think it sounds sick. I have installed by myself. i just put my car up on stands and did everything on my back. It took me about 4-5 hours to put mine on and perfecting it. The hardest part is getting the stock exhaust off , when your done with that your in the clear.

 

What's the exhaust you want really gonna sound like on a V6? Is it even worth it?

 

Its gonna sound like crap, I am looking for added perfromance. I bought the parts and did it myself..

 

I just bought a Flowmaster Cat Back System for $284.00 from Summit and it's sweet, nice sound, dual tailpipes, Stainless tips, the fit is excellent. It was a great buy.

 

for my magnaflow was 440 for the kit and 150 ish for the install

 

How does the Flowmaster sound on a V6 auto??

 

It's sounds good, a hell of alot better than they do on a 5.0 Mustang for sure.

 

Sorry to say, but the 5.0 stang and the flowmaster muffler is and has to be the most distinctive sound of any car with flows..I think they sound great.
