Unhappy Car wont start, had a P0440 for a while

my 2000 camaro 3.8L had the check engine light on for about a month now for the EVAP system and my roommate was driving it. And the other day it started and then chocked and shut off now it wont even turn over??? any advice would be greatly appreciated.

plus the vapor canister is not behind the rear driver tire in my care for some reason. where else could it be???

Got light on the dashboard? Did you check your fuses yet?

the check engine light has been on for the P0440 and when i checked codes on it it had the P0440 and a pending P0442. other then that it had no codes. i looked at the fuses but didnt pull them completely out and none of them seemed to be broken.

I'm no expert I'm just trying to help you with past experiences I've had. Assuming battery is good and engine still does not turn over, I'd have to guess its the chip in your ignition key or need to replace the ignition switch. It's happened to me a couple times. Went to grocery store car running fine, came out of store and my engine didn't turn over, and both times it happened to me it was the ignition switch.
