Default Car Stutters in 1st gear...

I have a 1994 v6 manual camaro. So i just noticed today that when i start from a dead stop in first gear you can feel the car give a stutter for a second or two at like 1.5 RPMs i'd say. Like you can even see the stick stutter back and forth. Its hard to explain i guess and i've never had this happen before but i have a feeling it means something bad. Right before this started happening i put in new engine oil and i'm sure it's the right kind so i don't think that would be the problem especially because i'm assuming this is a transmission problem which would make me cry

It felt that if i started faster and pushed down the gas faster it was less noticeable but it was still there.

Any ideas what's wrong if anything? Or please just say i'm freaking out over nothing because that would make me soooo happy haha

any way u could have gotten oil on the clutch. that will cause it to do that. could be pressure plate and clutch are gettin old. are they?

Have u checked the clutch reservoir? it might be low. its the little round one just behind the brake reservoir.

Do you know whether you have a stutter, or a shudder? A stutter is the engine falling on it's face. A shudder is when the car shakes, and that can be caused by the clutch, either a badly worn disc (riding on the rivets) or a checked pressure plate. Have you ever smoked the clutch? The extreme heat can put surface cracks on the pressure plate, and that will make the clutch chatter every time you engage it.
