well i buttoned her up today and she started right up with no ticking. i think i have a vacuum leak though as the car now idles at around 2500rpm

 

Kind of a silly idea, don't you think? Just because an engine is swapped, doesn't mean badges are part of the swap, or vise versa. I took off my RS badges, but I still have the same engine. Oh, and as GMD said, I'm as chill as they come.

Glad it's all put back together, but this sucks to hear. You didn't do anything with the Throttle Position Sensor (TPS) or idle screw, did you?

 

I was saying maybe it came with the RS package and the engine was swapped, but you don't have to make somebody sound stupid just because they're not the walking encyclopedia of camaro
