Put on real skinny tires & you will do burnouts at all times, even when you don't want to. Seriously, as MadMike said, the engine makes more power at night because the air is colder.

When you were younger did you over inflate your tires? I did not know about that when I was young but in my front drive Fiat I could just pull on the hand brake. Po' mans line lock.

MadMike, In my younger days I pulled all kinds of crazy stunts, but I quickly found out that if my tires were spinning the car wasn't making much progress. So I searched for ways to keep my tires from spinning, while still making as much power as possible. That is why I always get a chuckle when people try to equate power with smoking tires.

JaySan, I reall don't know what you are after, but come winter an the roads get icy, not only will you be able to spin the tires, but while the tires are spinning, the whole car will be doing some good 360s, hopefully nor while on its roof. Go around a corner at a good clip, cut the wheel hard into the corner and stab the brakes hard, and then hold the gas pedal to floor and all four wheels will be smoking. As you finish the first 360, snap the wheel in the opposite direction and straighten the car out and keep going. If you manage to pull it off without hitting anything, you will look like a hero. LOL

We were all young once and most likely all guilty of try to do the best burn out we could. But to get old and wise where we are now (or should be) we had to first be young and stupid.
Are you old enough to have seen the commecials for the wheel squeal 8 track and caset tapes? I think they were by K-Tel.

I am old enough to remember 8 track, but I don't remember that ad. Then again I was working for Uncle Sam during that period and missed a lot of stuff. But, I am old enough to remeber when Moon Equipment used to write on the label " After everything has failed, read the instructions". I think these people are out of business now, but Moon wheel covers are still known and used in dry lake high speed runs.

I like those instructions. Moon has to be around because I still see plenty of the moon eyes stickers. (or maybe just the stickers remain) I'm gonna have to look for them.
