Thanks for the tip! A heat shield is easy to do as well as extending the pipe.

HARDABS05 all the hard work will be worth it when you're driving it this summer!

oh i know i cant wait itll be great. had a great time towing it today i had it hooked up to the sawybar and i think i broke it

Yeah the factory front sway bars aren't too durable after 17yrs! I need to change mine too!

you should never tow any car by the sway bars. best way the go is with the t hooks holes built in the frame or if you cant use them j hook the lower control arm.

so got the car towed and this happend

i dont know why but i hooked the tow rope up the the sway bar and it snapped clean in half

So i removed the spark plugs also learned how hard the passenger side is to get too but anyways i found how rich the car is running

It's supposed to be way down there. You're not supposed to be able to see the filter at all.

i know what you mean chaotic mine was way farther down then the air damn its hard to explain without a pic of it but now the filter is moved up to about how low yours is in your picture

mine is low enough that its touching the bottom of the air dam that you take out from the bottom of the car. my filter is literally 5 inches off the ground
