Hey I'm new to the forums but, i have a 96 3.8 Camaro rs I'm looking to upgrade brakes. i found rotors and brake but i don't know if they will fit my car. now to the question. will brakes for a 98-02 rotor and brakes kit fit on a 96? if anyone knows please get back to me...

 

Um they aren't bolt ons... You will have to modify your spindle.

so you mean the rotors are not interchangeable on the front wheels

 

The rotors for the newer Camaros have a deeper lip on the mounting surface. If you put the newer rotors on your Camaro, it'll hit the spindle. It will also change the location of the caliper.
