Brakes effecting rpm's at Idle

Default Brakes effecting rpm's at Idle

Not necessarily a problem, but strange none the less. In park at idle if you hit the brake pedal slightly the rpms drop noticeably. Any one know why this is?

Its a 93' V6. btw

Bad brake booster comes to mind.

Leaky hose after the check valve The check Valve itself and a bad booster come to mind here. A visual check will work for the hose, you can check the check valve by blowing into both sides and it should only allow air in one way. The booster is harder to check and usually when they go bad the the brake petal is harder to press. Good luck

Agreed with above or a vac hose leaking somewhere affecting the overall vac of the system.
