Default battery cable

im replacing my battery cables and the connections on the end are different from the original ones.

Should i just try to make them work or but the old ones on?
Also one of the replacement cables doesnt have a no connector on it. Do i have to buy one?
one more thing. Should i get those plastic covers to put over the wires?

i ran into the same issue replacing the starter wire on darling's car. however, she had a connector from scoshce for her amp wiring kit that had 2 or 3 large gauge fitting and 3 smaller gauge fitting. it worked perfectly to attach the fuse box and alternator leads and required no cutting or adding connectors. im not sure if its availible seperatly from the wiring kit, but you can take a look around. otherwise i suggest having someone make it for you

Doesnt matter now the wire was not long enough. This is gonna be the death of me. Im gonna see how much the dealership charges for oem replacement ones cuz autozone and checkers all have 2 lead battery cables not 3

You may also want to try the battery splice kits. They come in 2 main cable forms and they use part of your existing wiring (the lower part) and it replaces the upper part of the cable that attaches to the battery. I sell quite afew of them since most cables do not come with 2 main leads on them.

I got it to work. I had to get another wire and use the connector it came with.
I also have one of those terminals that has a bolt on the back for accessories, but it is just a hair to short to thread it into the battery. Any ideas on how I can make it work?
Originally my amp is powered by it so I would like it to work ASAP
