Exclamation Bad Oil Leak

Well now I have a pretty bad oil leak problem on my 95 3.4L V6, I have checked around the valve covers and the drain plug and nothing there. But there is oil all over the pan and trans. So I don't know what could it be?

check to see if the oil pressure sensor is leaking. other than that the intake manifold or rear main is all i can think of. how high up on the trany and block is the oil. can you track it to get a better idea where its coming from.

Try cleaning everything real well, then you should be able to see the leak better. How many miles on the car? If I had to guess, rear main seal and/or oil pan gasket... Had both need attention on my old 3.4L at 100k+ mi.

I just put a new intake manifold gasket on last week, and it is not coming from there, the oil is on the bottom of the tranny, so the leak is not high up on the block. The car has about 125k but the engine about 98 to 100k on it, I will try and clean it the best I can tomorrow so I can see where it maybe coming from.

yah that would be the best, if low how far forward does it go, front cover can leak, oil filter seal or filter itself can fail if factory defect.

Ok I have been driving it today and I looked under the car after this, and you can not tell that I cleaned this yesterday. and I checked the oil level and it was low so added more oil. From with I can see it is coming from the backside of the engine, no oil is coming from the front of engine. So its all on the backside...
