this might be a dumb question but is it bad if i am driving and i shift my shifter in to neutral and rev my engine while i am driving? Also is it bad for my tranny if i am racing in regular drive but then shift into D1? and does any one know how many miles i am supposed to change the transmission and transmission fluid? i did it when i had 95,000 miles and now i have 108,000 now thanx

 

Question 1, NO
Question 2, YES, you might force the transmissio in first at too high a road speed. Bad for engine & tranny.
Question 3, You don't change transmissions unless you broke them. They should last at least 100K miles, if not abused.
Question 4, Change fluid and filter every 25K miles, if you are a hard driver, or 50K miles if you drive normally
