Default Air intake question

I have a 95 3.4l and im making a cold air intake on it. i redoing the whole thing from the throtle body to the cleaner. i know the throtle body has a 4" inlet. but i was wondering if i should do the whole thing out of 4" or would it be better to put a reducer on the body from a 4" to a 3" an do all the piping in 3". what would be better 4" or 3". and is there any things i need to look out for when doing this.

Good luck finding 4" pipe off the shelf. I played hell on mine. I went with the spectre stuff in 3 inch, with a 4 to 3 adapter at the throttle body on a 3.8. With mine coming off the throttle body at an angle, you really have to play around getting stuff down in there.
