99-motor swap

When swaping a 3800 v-6 with electonic throttle body with one with a cable do you need to change the upper & lower intake ? The other 3800 is out of a 98 firebird.

change them both i think the 99 has a better intake and make sure to change all the gaskets.

Craby you had me scared cause I resused my 96 lower intake, I just double checked the lower intake is the same GM part number 24505829, 95-02

Resealing the intake is a good idea since it is a common failure point.
