Default 98 v6 heater hose bracket

I am installing the heater core hose kit from v6fixit.com. I am trying to remove the stock heater hoses. How do I remove the bracket holding it to the body. I am tring to use an Allen key wrench and it seems to be turning but seems like I have made no progress. Anyone know if there is an easier way to remove it or am I stuck fumbling around with the wrench?

It's the piece that holds the heater hoses to the body

If I recall its a huge torx head bolt. Do not recall the size. I think I bought a set at Harbor Freight.
