o well its all a moot point now . developed a rod knock today .after i replaced plugs and wires , then as it was sitting there idling it locked up. mannnnnnnnnnnn that suks my arms are hamburger from changing plugs. also replaced injectors with a set i had laying around. all wasted time now never did get the miss isolated changed coils around wasted wasted time yada yada yada

 

1. Check your coils.

2. Change waterpump... PLEASE air out the system afterwards. So many idiots change things and then air lock their system and dunno why they have coolant spraying out the top of the radiator or blow a hose.

3. Drink some beer and chill.

4. Replace your MAF sensor, this is probably what's eating your mileage and making your car miss like mad.

5. You're low on coolant which is why you're getting a coolant temp code... Or the radiator is busted. Or your fans are whacked out.

If you continue having problems after you check all these things... and i mean check all of them. Then tell us and that will help more rather than asking questions about gaskets and other stupid ****. Fix the obvious problems before you do guess work with gasket problems.

 

Oooo didn't see that post on 2nd page. Well I'm guessing the coolant leaked into the block and you hydrolocked that *****.

Anyhow... I bet the misfire was your MAF :$
