Default question about my 94z missfire PLEASE HELP

ok sooo my 94z was missing really bad and backfiring occasionally ...i thought this was because of a bad opti but now i found out i have burnt ignition wires which is probably the cause of all my problems...anyways i want to know how hard they are to change? if anyone has changed them before? and what wires to buy thanks in advance for all help...

its easy to change the wire to the opti here is one to see if thats the one. u just unplug from opti and the harness mounted on the passenger side of intake manifold by the fuel rails.

well if he was talkin plug wires,,, they are a pita. major. check out the plug wires see if they look burnt or in poor condition. i would look there for a missing cylinder first. but if its a misfire which i take to mean a spark happening at the wrong time rather than not happening at all, i would say its more likely to be the opti wire.

ok ill do that... the symptoms are a miss fire, the ocasionall backfire from the exhaust, and the car dying altogether..it sounded like a bad opti to me but the mechanic doesnt think so :/

my spark plug wires got burnt before so if you do the wires make sure to get something that keeps them away from hot parts so it dosent happen again
