Help?? puzzled and stumped.. I have a 95 base coupe 3.4 v-6. started knocking, shut it down and figured rod. left it alone a couple of weeks. went back and started it up and now it don't knock at idle or with foot on the brake in gear. only revving in park. ??? any ideas? thanks

 

Have you checked the oil pressure?

 

the only 2 gauges that halfway work are the volts and the oil pressure and it goes up and down, so not sure if its reading right or not.

 

Sounds like your oil pump is failing and that you're not getting proper oil to your top end.
