Default 95 Camaro Burning Through Headlights

So, I've had my 95 camaro for about 2 years now and the most expensive thing on the car has been the headlights. I've gone through at least 6 individual headlights which has run me over 300 dollars. I was just wondering if anybody else has had similar issues with their vehicles or has any suggestions as to something that may be causing this.

That does not seem normal, but just for grins & giggles, check the battery voltage when the engine is runing, to make sure it is not above 14 Volt.

Are you replacing the whole glass housing/bulb unit, or just the bulb? If just the bulb, be careful not to touch the glass part with your bare fingers.
Oils from your skin can create hot spots on the glass, which will weaken it and shorten the bulbs life.

I have been changing the whole unit, not just the bulb, and thanks for the suggestion on the voltage, I'll check it when I go out in a little while and let you know.

Check the brand of bulb in the unit. If it is GE, throw it out! When I bought my car four years ago, I was burning out GE bulbs every other week. I switched brands to Sylvania and have not had a problem since.

I havent had a problem with ge bulbs but I did have a problem with my connector that made it look like my lights where burnt out. Try turning your lights on and wiggle your connector to see if that's the problem.

So its not the connector, or the voltage. My dad thinks that it may be the sound system in the car that's causing shortages to the bulbs. There were 2 10inch subs and an amp installed when I purchased the car, I switched them out for my own system that I had in a previous vehicle. Do you think this could be causing the issue?

only iff the amp is running on the same line as the lights

Shortage of what? This makes no sense at all. A large electrical load will cause the voltage to drop, which if anything will make the lamps last longer.
Take a good look at all connections and wiring for the lights, especially grounds. Any loose or corroded connection or wiring can cause the lights to flicker as you drive around. Lamp filaments burn out much faster if they are contiuosly turned on & off.
