95 3.4 runs rich

my car smells heavily of gas when i get out and it seems like im gettin worse gas mileage. also when im driving my car hard if backfires. how do i fix this?

no lights are on. every once in a while i get a check engine soon light but thats it (code 36).

when was the last time you had a full tune up on the car ?

i havent since ive owned the car. when i called and asked a local shop how much it would be he said "well what do you mean cuz a tune up is a very broad area." so he couldnt give me a price.
