94 Camaro Chip Modded - Rough Idle - EGR?
I bought a 94 Camaro 3.4 that has a chip mod. It has rough idle, which may be due to how it was tuned with the chip.
I also get a SES that comes off and on andwas scanned as an EGR problem.
I am thinking of having the EGR cleaned, or thought I could maybe take it off my self. Does anyone have a picture of the layout where it is located?
I don't know if the rough idle is coming from the chip or the EGR or maybe the chip is causing the EGR SES?
I also read that cleaing the engine with SeaFoam is a good idea, to pour 1/3 can into an engine port such as the PCV or brake booster. Where are they located?
Another question, with the chip mod, should I be concerned about what octane gas to put in?

Take out the chip, it doesnt do anything for you. And a haynes or chiltons manual could show you where the egr is, but I wouldnt recomend removing it. It keeps engine temps lower at idle, and unless you have a plug in programmer, NOT a chip, you will always have a code.
