Default 3.8 Custom Cold air intake

I am currently wondering if you build a custom intake system, what do you do with the wire going to the current intake system i think its an oxygen sensor but i am not sure. I also dont know if the k and n and slp even have those please help me Thanks,

It a air temp sensor and yes it needs to be there. All the intakes, even the ebay ones, have a place for it. O2 sensors need to be in the exhaust.

If you remove the rubber gromet you will see its just a hole, Simple hand drill will do the job.
