3.8 camaro headers install help needed
When i took to get smogged in cali they asked if i asked if i had a stock cat and i said yes and they never said i dint. That is weird and i thought the welds were just from factory like that. Thanks for the pic gorn. Should i just delete the cat? what kind of gains will i get if any? I can always just reinstall in 2012 for my next smog. And last but not least, how do i find out what kind of cat they installed? I dont see a logo or anything like that.

I just ninja'd mine and chopped it off
I cut off the EGR provision on the headers and welded a small piece of steel over the hole. Ground it down and painted them and you can barely tell it ever had an EGR provision lol. Then I broke the tube on the part that goes to the intake and welded the hole shut, ground it down, and painted it the same color as the intake. You really CANT tell it shouldn't be there lol.

Nubie @ the 3.8 series two and looking for insight on my blown engine. Take a look @ my profile and ponder some of the issues I have with me and others. Thanks, looking forward to posting pics as soon as this sight clears me to be able to. Thanks for all the help in advance fellas.
