My 97 3.8, with intake and exhaust rapes all the stock v6 mustangs and I also beat a late 80s 5.0 when my car was stock.

 

I have a 94 Camaro 3.4 and a guy at work has a 04 mustang conv. He says it was one of the last made and has a 3.9 instead of a 3.8. Regardless I smoked him very badly, takeoff, and interstate. It's an automatic but would not have made a difference.
