the supercharger will not fit... it will not clear and you can't cut anything to make it fit due to the windshield. Get an Lt1 or a non supercharged 3800

In other words, NO! However, you could try a Buick GN turbo motor, if you can find one and have the know how to make it work.

I wouldn't even bother with a Buick turbo 3.8L.

If the OP has to pass emissions, that's probably not gonna happen with that engine if a visual inspection is necessary.

For the trouble of changing an engine and tranny, along with the electronics, just slap in an LT1 drivetrain pullout and call it a day.

i believe the l67 (supercharged 3.8) isnt any taller than the l36(na 3.8 for fwd, i dunno if the rpo on the rwd is different), the biggest problem that i think u would have is the intake, because the throttle body comes out the back of that engine.... if ur gonna try to make the switch (which u shouldnt because of the throttle body, its gonnna cause u major problems), u should try to get a series 2 instead of a series 3 because of price, ease of installation (series 3 has a electronic tb), and performance parts availability.

if ur gonna pay that much for an engine save urself the trouble, and the pain, get a ls1 its about the same price.
