2002 Camaro V6 3800 Series II Harmonic Balancer
If Chevy used the V6 3800 Series II motor in the 2002 Camaro (rear wheel drive), and the Monte Carlo (front wheel drive) why wouldn't the Harmonic Balancers be interchangeable ?

Welcome, Please post technical question in the proper forms. This area is just for the meet and greet. I think a lot of us regulars just open up the tech forms.
FYI the FWD 3800 non supercharged 3800 have the same long block but most of the bolt on parts are different. FWD cars have a lot of room side to side and the Camaro have a bunch of room in the front of the motor. There is a lot of info in the 4th gen V6 section on swapping in a FWD motor into a Camaro.

moved your thread for you. like said ^^^ the 4th gen engines are made to fit so most everything (from other models) not contained in the block and heads are not going to work

Are you looking for a new harmonic balancer? I had to get one back in January and found out that pretty much no parts house carries them under the 02 Camaro, but they have them under the 02 Firebird and they are compatible, you just need a longer bolt. That's what I have and it works fine.
