Default 2000 Monsoon question

My wife just bought a 2000 V6 and it has the Monsoon 6speaker setup..
I've been reading about the 2 way front speakers(both of them sound like crap) the drivers side sounds like its just playing the tweeter and the passenger sounds like the bass is busted on it,the two speakers by the passenger seating don't have any sound at all,and the two in the trunk area sound fine for being 4"(I assume these are for highs)
From what I understand the headunit runs the tweeters and the amp runs the subs
where is the amp located?is it built in or somewhere else on the car? other posts I've seen says to look in the panel by rear passenger wheel well...looked didn'ts see amp there just spare tire, and a security sensor...
any help would be appreciated..thanks

look at the back seat speakers, i bet there's not even speakers in there.

and the amp for the rear is on the left hand side inside of the bass box.

there are amps attached to the front door speakers, all speakers are run by amps in your setup.

drivers side in the trunk, there should be a little box that the sub sits in, the amp is inside of the enclosure, the front speakers- the amp is attached to the speaker's inside of the door.

hope that helps ya!
