2. ill post a pic once fiance gets home if there is enough light, but there is a white plug with a blue cap between wheel well and exaust manifold on the passenger side, what is it for? i found it resting on the manifold and wanna make sure it isnt major as it slightly melted but dont know if it messed up anything

 

1. a Aftermarket coil like msd would be around $45 and a stock around $20, new.

2. I know what connection your talking about but im not sure what its for. There should be a little black plastic pin on the connection that holds in against the wheel well.

 

also is it bad if i have 2original and 1 aftermarket coil?

 

Its not bad to have that but if you can try to replace all 3. If your just getting the stock one then you'll be fine with the 2 originals an one replacement.

 

ok im just figuring my options, computer reads misfire in coil a and thats all it tells me, so i dont know if its the gapping in spark plugs, the cable, or the coil

 

Switch the coil with another coil and see if it changes the misfire location. If not then you know it's either plugs or wires. Also when was the last time you changed spark plugs and wires?

 

plugs and wires i put on when i put the new engine in last month
