When repedeatly using 1st gear, primarily in stop and go traffic, I eventually get really harsh stuttering almost like the car is going to stall. I can't seem to pull off slowly and smoothly, if I try almost hard launching I get some stuttering but for a split second. If I try pulling off slowly my car goes bonkers, but again this is only after continues use of my first gear . If the car was started for the first time in a new day the first gear has absolutely no problems . I'm pretty sure its not from me because others who have driven my car get the same issue.
No one from my buddies can put there finger on it maybe someone here knows. also the gear oil hasnt been change for a long time, don't know if that matters.

If the car feels like it's going to stall then you have other problems unrelated to your tranny. Is your check engine light on? How many miles on the car and when was the tranny fluid changed? How long is a long time that the gear oil hasn't been changed?

 

It sounds like you are describing clutch "Chatter". Chatter normally gets worse with heat. A clutch is designed to slip but as it wears out the slipping becomes less uniform so you get a slip grab,slip grab effect or Chatter. It can also be caused by an oil leak. If it is caused by an oil leak you should track that down first. You do not want to replace the clutch twice.

 

Clutch chatter is what I was thinking too. I once overheated a clutch and the whole surface of the flywheel got checked (surface splits). That baby really had a chatter. As far as your "stalling" problem, does it feel like the clutch starts to grab closer and closer to the floor the longer you drive? I'm thinking possibly a hydraulic/heat issue.
And with your "can't pull off slowly and smoothly" problem, practice...practice...practice. Are we still talking about your clutch btw?

 

^^^ Have to agree with the chatter. If you pull the trans and get a good look at the clutch you will be able to figure out what is causing the chatter. Since the slave cyl is outside the bell you are prolly safe as to not have any brake fluid in the clutch. You could have trans fluid or motor oil causing this. If the disk is dry then look at the flywheel. It will prolly have some small cracks all over it, this is normal but they should not have any noticeable gaps. What you will prolly find tho is heat spots or heat checks, these are spots, sometimes gold or purple color and they indicate a hard spot on the flywheel that will cause the grabbing. Last thing that I can think of that will cause chattering is a broken spring on the clutch disk. Again you can see this.
