hey guys, i finally got my car set up to drive. got all the linkages set up and it runs pretty sweet with that new 350. well when i finally went to back the car out of the garage. i found out the shifter is stuck in park. nothing appeared to be jamed up on the headers or anything. what could this be???

 

Fluid in the tranny?

 

yeah theres fluid in it.

 

if you got the bracket that mounts to the shifter shaft upside down,it want shift.the bracket has a rectangle shape hole in it and when it is mounted in the right position the cable will hook up on the bottom of the bracket.
