Default 1999 V6 O2 Sensors?

Hey All,
I own a 1999 V6 3.8 and it has been an amazing car thus far, however I recently hit 130,000 miles with minor problems and one biggie the clutch master cylinder. anyways I recently got my first check engine lamp and tested it and got the O2 sensor code. My question is how many O2 sensors are there and where about on the car might they be and if there is a O2 sensor that generally goes before the others for a good starting point.

There are three. Two on the manifold, one after your cat. The code it returned should tell you which sensor was bad. It would say something like Bank 1 Sensor 1 or Bank 1 Sensor 2, or Bank 2 Sensor 1.

if it the rear O2 after the cat, tap the cat to see if it rattles, if it does then it might be the cat, is the car sluggish at all?

Thank You for the reply's, I believe it was a P1041 Code.
The car really isent sluggish at all has great power but I did notice when the Engine Lamp came on I was having some trouble when it started it sounded like it wanted to choke up at idle and was a bit rough, that has seemed to go away for now though.
Any other ideas would be greatly appreciated, Thanks!

Maybe P0141? If I remember right that is the third O2 sensor that monitors the Cat. It should not effect the way the car is running.
