1999 V6 O2 Sensors?
Hey All,
I own a 1999 V6 3.8 and it has been an amazing car thus far, however I recently hit 130,000 miles with minor problems and one biggie the clutch master cylinder. anyways I recently got my first check engine lamp and tested it and got the O2 sensor code. My question is how many O2 sensors are there and where about on the car might they be and if there is a O2 sensor that generally goes before the others for a good starting point.

There are three. Two on the manifold, one after your cat. The code it returned should tell you which sensor was bad. It would say something like Bank 1 Sensor 1 or Bank 1 Sensor 2, or Bank 2 Sensor 1.

Thank You for the reply's, I believe it was a P1041 Code.
The car really isent sluggish at all has great power but I did notice when the Engine Lamp came on I was having some trouble when it started it sounded like it wanted to choke up at idle and was a bit rough, that has seemed to go away for now though.
Any other ideas would be greatly appreciated, Thanks!
