Default Sensors

I'm hoping everyone doesn't kill me for this but I can't figure out where the oil sensor or coolent temp sensor is on this thing? My oil is reading low and I have no signal for the coolant? Someone mind throwing me a bone? It's a 94 Z LT1 and 6er. Thanks!

Check out the FAQ at the top of the LT1 section, there's a great website that has a bunch of part locations/diagrams etc. that is linked in that thread.

I just changed out my water pump...twice. But I won't get into that story.
The Coolant Temp sensor is located on the water pump. Look at the front face of it (facing toward the front of the car, has the round cover on it) and look to the bottom right (bottom driver's side). You should see aharness plugand a brass-type sensor threaded into the front face of the pump. There you go.
The Oil Press. sensor is on the driver's side of the engine block, right by the second cylinder toward the rear of the car. That's also a harness plugged into a brass-type fitting threaded into the block.
Be prepared to get messy, the water pump will leak coolant out when you change the temp sensor. Try to cover the optispark with something (cardboard, etc.) to divert the flow of coolant. Wet optispark could equal a VERY bad day.
Hope that helps.
