I have the 1995 3.4L automatic and I was curious about changing the shifter **** and E-brake ****. But, the thing is, whenever I try to twist or unscrew it or pull it off it doesnt budge. is there any way to change it?

 

Look at the front of the shifter (the part facing the dash...). You should see what is basically a staple stuck in there. Pry it out, and you can remove the shifter ****.

how is that rice? What if he just wants a nice billet shifter instead of that big goofy lookin ball that comes stock?

 

yeah it takes a little pulling and in sometimes slicing. its been a logn time since i took an auto shift head off but i did it too fast and yanked too hard and broke off the top half of the actual shift lever, so be careful with that!

 

billet would be fine, but alot of the stuff people get are like those weird lookin objects with the led rainbow lights nd ****

 

yeah the shift **** is really easy to take off... while your at it you should replace the shift indicator light with a white LED... it looks SOOOO cool. ive never tried the ebrake handle though, im not sure how to go about doing that...

 

e-brake is screwed in i believe

 

Im not going to get some gay **** like those imports. ill get one thats chrome with a chevy or fire dept. or flamesymbols on it. thanks for the replies ill try it out.
