I have a 1999 camaro with about 60000miles on it with a 3800 v6 and know she has started to like chuge and run rough in low rpms it doesnt kill its self it just runs really slugish and the service engine light comes on. what should i do we thought it might be bad gas as the problem started at about a 1/4 of a tank and so we filled it up and put injecter cleaner in it i also replaced the fuel filter.

 

Sounds as if you may have a bad coil pack. Pull each plug one at a time from the coils and listen for spark. You should be able to hear each cylinder spark from the driver door. If one doesn't, replace that coil. Cost arond $25 -$50 each.

 

well what i found out to be the problem was that one of the sparkpug wires had poped up not all the way off and was just arking and after i while we could start hearing a click coming from the third coil pack and that was the problem
