Default 1996 RS MAF question

Hello - I have a 1996 RS with 130K - runs rough at idle and seems to be a little sluggish on accel. I have done plugs, wires, fuelfilter and air filter. When I unplug my MAF it runs better - not perfect, but better. I replaced the MAF and there was no change.....what next? Thanks in advance for any help.

You replace it with a new or used sensor? If you pulled it from a junkyard it could've been fubar already.

Did you disconnect the battery before swapping them out, or perhaps done it since you've swapped them out? By that I mean what people call "resetting the computer", by disconnecting the battery for 30 some odd minutes then reconnecting.

Click this for testing of the MAF if what I just recommended doesn't work...
