I took the car to my buddies garage and put it up on the lift. There's no speedo gear. My buddy said its electronic. But he gave me an idea. I found this on summit racing. What do you guys think? Should work, right?

Per their instruction sheet: "Do not use this unit to adjust a signal going to an anti-lock braking system".
Does your car have anti-lock brakes?

I would check with Dakota Digital and have them tell you what it could hurt.

So you actually pulled the VSS out of the trans housing, and saw no driven gear on a shaft connected to the VSS? Just making sure you didn't see the wires and say hmmmmm...it's electronic, without taking it out.

why not have it programmed. from what i can tell 94 and 95 speedo can be tuned/reprorammed. have you had it tuned yet, may be a good time to call or email solomon.

From what everyone is telling me (GM, pcm4less, and dyno shops) it can't be tuned at all because it's obd1. And yeah we pulled the VSS out and there's no gear on it.
