Default 1994 Camaro v6 Speedometer Calibration

Anyone know how to calibrate the speedometer in a 3.4? GM said it can't be done because its obd1...

I believe we have mechanical speed sensors. Why do you want to calibrate it? Mine is almost 100% accurate.

He changed his rear end,so the speedo cant differentiate with it, that's the only vibe im getting

He did the same rear swap I did. The VSS is in the transmission, so the only thing affected would be a slight variation in mph readings on the dash due to the higher gearing.

Your right about the VSS, I just got a vibe, never thought I was on the spot for even a second.

Chaotic is your speedo off? If so by how much?

It was accurate before I swapped my rear ends. After the swap, it's 5-7mph off. I'm about to go to 3.73 gears from my 3.42's and I want a way to calibrate it so that it's still somewhat accurate.

Is my VSS on the rear end or on the tranny?
