I have a 1995 5-speed Camaro but the 1st gear sychro is gone and reverse is going out I believe. It is a 3.4L and I was wondering which vehicles also had a transmission to fit. I was thinking maybe an S10 but I'm not sure.

I am not sure if the T-5 transmissions like the one in your car have removable tailhousings like the 700R4/4L60/4L60E have but if not your only option as far as I know would be another one from a similar Camaro. Camaro's have a torque arm that bolts to the tail housing of the transmission that aren't on other GM cars so whatever you use will have to have the 3 mounting holes for it. Hope this helps.

 

Im aware of the torque arm technology. My 88 needed a transmission as well. Granted it was a 700r4 but i got a transmission from an s10 tht had the mounting holes already on it. Maybe ill just have to research it.
