Just replaced both u-joints on my 93 Z28. Everything seemed good until I took it over 60 mph. Loud rubbing sound and vibrations coming from rear. Sounds like the drive shaft is rubbing against the new u-joint. ???

 

I don't see how the drive shaft can be rubbing on the U joints, being that the U joints are bolted to it. You may want to take another look and check that the new joints are installed properly, and check transmission mount and rear axle linkage.

 

have to bring back to life,,,any results on this? I am having the same problems now
