I have a 94 and 95 Camaro. I am swapping the 5 speed from the 95 into the 94 that has an automatic in it for the time. I have been trying to find if there is anything I need to reprogram anything or if it will work on its own?

 

You PCM controls the shifting in the transmission. I am sure it will not be happy when it runs through it internal tests and does not see any trans connection. Seems like it would be simple to turn off the trans side but I know noting about pre OBD2 programming. I think it would just have the check engine light one but still work fine.
