Default T56 clutch issue

Blew my slave cylinder, replaced it and got the system full pumped up the pedal, heard the retaining straps pop loose, and then the pedal died... blew the seals out of the new one, got under the car, and took out the slave, reached up and pushed the clutch fork in, no pressure on the fork... Any ideas what the issue in the bell housing is? I'm about to drop it but I'm looking for leads...

^^ Sounds like the fork is not set properly. The problem in this case is that nothing is preventing the slave cylinder from getting overextended, and blow out the seals in the process
