Default swapping a rear end

hi there, I was just wondering if anyone knows about swapping a 2002 ss rear end with a 3.42 ratio into a 96 z28 with the same ratio, I was just wondering if the wheals, suspension, brake lines and traction control line up the same, thanks

there are two types of rear ends. traction control and non traction control. it is easiest to keep them the same. if your current rear end has one sensor hookup at the center section its non tc, if it has sensors at each wheel then its a tc rear. if the 96 is the same as yours its a simple switch.
