resr end sawp
I got a 1984 Camaro Z28 with a stock, drum brakes, rear end. I just bought a posi disc brake rear for it and was wondering how hard the switch over from drums to discs are? Whats envolved in the swap and approximatly how long it'll take?
Thanks

The big thing to look out for is make sure the brake line has the same type of flair fitting. And hopefuly your new rear has the e-brake cables. Then is easy as unbolting your rear and bolting in the other. I put an 88 rear with posi in my 84 and the brake lines were correct and the cables hooked right up to old adjuster above the drive shaft.

once again never done drums to disc before. the lines (if they have the same fittings) put them together and bleed them out and ur set to go? do they make adapoters for the different fittings?
and if i dont have the e-brake cable can i use the original one?
