Rear End?

Default Rear End?

Well I have a 91 z28 305 tpi and normall I dont **** around alot but today I had the urge to power brake it.. well it seems the tires wont even spin I dont know whats wrong with it, the motor runs good and strong, but the one time I tryed to power brake it I heard kind of a clanging noise from the rear end... I have no idea whats going, its not a real big deal to me, but Im just tryin to figure out what the hell is going on? thanks... for any input..

Your rear brakes grab good. The clang may be **** getting f'ed up in the drum.

what do I check in the drum? I know to jack it up take the tires off then what?

Lok for broken springs. There should be one from each shoe going to the top center, one from one shoe to the other at the bottom, Craked or broken linnings, The springs that hold the shoes on, self adjuster spring that rides on a shoe, parking brake lever....Compare both sides.

alright thanks, I just looked today and I have ANOTHER snapped tranny mount... but ill still check the drums

Are you useing a urethane mount? Check out www.summitracing.com for them.
